“I am an Associate Professor and past Chairperson of our Graduate Committee. I have

 Bachelors and  PhD  from  UC  Berkeley  as  well  as  a  clinical  Doctorate  in  Optometry.

I teach courses in vision perception, research methods, and teaching in the University of M. 

I  have  published  and  presented  my  research  at  national  and  international 

conferences.  I have served as the Thesis Committee Chairperson for several doctorate

 combined program students at our University.  I  serve  on  the  Editorial  Boards  of 

PLOS  One  and  MEHDI  Ophthalmology,  as  well  as  serving  as  a  journal  reviewer 

for  a  number  of  other  internationally  regarded  journals.

My  main  fields  of  emphasis  are:  human perception,  visual  psychophysics,  color  vision,  diabetic  retinopathy,  and  clinical  trials.  I am passionate about research and teaching.”
